This Privacy Policy explains how Reviora ("we", "our", "us"), a mobile application provided by Barbaros İhtiyar (the "Developer"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app. Reviora is an AI-powered photo restoration app that lets you repair, enhance, colorize, and restore your photographs.
By downloading, installing, or using Reviora, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Where required, Reviora asks for your explicit permission before your selected photo is shared with a third-party AI processing provider.
1. Information We Collect
1.1. Photos You Upload
The core function of Reviora requires you to select photos so they can be processed by AI models. Before a selected photo is transmitted to our third-party AI processing provider, Replicate, Inc., Reviora displays a consent notice that explains what data will be shared, who it will be shared with, and why the sharing is necessary.
- The data shared is the specific photo you select for an AI-powered restoration, enhancement, colorization, or full-restore request.
- Your selected photo may first be uploaded to our secure cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) so it can be made available for processing.
- Replicate receives the selected photo, or a time-limited secure link to that photo, solely to run the AI model required for the feature you requested.
- Reviora does not send the selected photo to Replicate unless you give explicit permission through the in-app consent prompt.
- If you choose Don't Allow, the photo is not sent to Replicate and the AI processing request does not begin.
- The original (input) and processed (output) images may be stored so the app can show your results, before/after comparisons, and let you download or re-access them.
1.2. Account & Identifiers
Reviora uses lightweight authentication so your photos and subscription stay tied to your device/account. We may process:
- An anonymous account identifier and authentication token,
- A referral code (if you invite friends or redeem an invite),
- Your email address and message content only if you contact us voluntarily.
1.3. Subscription & Purchase Data
Reviora offers a premium subscription. Payments are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (active/expired, plan, expiry date, anonymized purchase identifiers) — we never receive or store your full payment card details.
1.4. Device, Technical & Usage Data
- Device model and operating system version,
- App version, language and region settings,
- Anonymized crash and error logs,
- Aggregated usage events (e.g. which features are used) to improve the app.
2. Photo Library Permission
Reviora requests access to your photo library so you can select photos to restore and save the results back to your device. The app accesses only the photos you choose; it does not scan or upload your entire gallery in the background.
You can revoke this permission at any time from your device settings, though selecting and saving photos will then be limited.
3. AI Processing Consent
Reviora uses Replicate, Inc. as a third-party AI processing provider for certain photo restoration and editing features. Before any selected photo is transmitted to Replicate, the app asks for your explicit permission.
The in-app consent notice clearly explains:
- What data is shared: the photo you selected for processing,
- Who receives it: Replicate, Inc.,
- Why it is shared: to perform the AI-powered photo processing feature you requested.
If you grant permission, Reviora may transmit the selected photo, or a time-limited secure link to that photo, to Replicate for processing. If you decline permission, Reviora will not transmit the selected photo to Replicate and the requested AI operation will not start.
You may withdraw your consent for future AI processing at any time through the app where such controls are available, or by contacting us using the details in this Privacy Policy.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the core features (restore, HD enhance, colorize, full restore),
- To store and display your input/output images and before/after comparisons,
- To verify your subscription status and unlock premium features,
- To enforce fair-use limits and prevent abuse,
- To diagnose crashes and improve performance and quality,
- To respond to your support requests,
- To comply with legal obligations.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
To operate Reviora we rely on the following processors, each governed by its own privacy policy:

We do not sell your personal data. We require service providers that process personal data on our behalf to use it only for the services they provide to Reviora and to maintain appropriate privacy and security protections.
6. Face Data
Reviora does not collect, store, or use biometric identifiers or facial recognition data. The app does not perform face detection or facial mapping, and it does not extract facial geometry, faceprints, or any data that could be used to identify a person.
Photos you select may contain faces. These photos are processed solely to perform the enhancement you request (for example photo restoration, colorization, or face retouching). Processing is performed by our AI provider, Replicate, Inc. (USA), only after you provide explicit consent in the app. Replicate receives the selected photo or a time-limited secure link to your photo solely to generate the requested result. Your original and enhanced photos are stored in our private cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) and are linked only to your anonymous account — we do not collect your name or email address for this purpose.
Your photos are retained while your account is active. You can delete any photo, or your entire account, at any time from within the app; deletion removes the images from our storage immediately, and any residual records are permanently purged within 30 days. Uploaded photos that are never processed are automatically deleted within 7 days.
7. Data Retention
Your uploaded photos and processed results are retained while your account is active so you can re-access them. You may delete individual results in the app. When you request account deletion (or after a prolonged period of inactivity), your stored input and output images and associated account data are deleted from our systems. Anonymized, aggregated logs that no longer identify you may be retained for analytics and security.
8. Data Security & International Transfers
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encrypted transit, access-restricted storage, scoped upload URLs) to protect your data. Because our providers operate globally, your data may be processed in countries other than your own; we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, or to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
10. Children’s Privacy
Reviora is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version becomes effective as soon as it is published. Continued use of Reviora after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
